The Factory Project 01 was conceptualised and curated by Rameesha Azeem. This year-long project was situated in an Industrial area of Lahore in the Chawla Footwear Shoe Factory. The project culminated into an exhibition showcasing the works of 19 artists within the boundaries of the shoe factory.

9 writers closely worked with the editor Emaan Maqbool to produce the most meaningful text that reflects on the nature of the project.

The Documentary Film – Directed by Muhammad Usman – explores the genre of the film as a creative discourse, an archive of the year long project.
